Account setup

Create an account: Set up a username and password

First, open the VPNHe account creation page. No email address is required; simply set a username and password. Choose credentials that are easy to recognize but not reused on other websites. The username identifies your account, while the password is used to access the user panel later. Before submitting, check for extra spaces and review the details once.

After account creation, the page may open the user panel or ask you to sign in again. If you return to the login page, continue with the username and password you just set. After signing in, the account overview shows your plan status, data usage and subscription entry points. Your account can now access the panel, but the client will not receive usable routes until a plan is active, so choose a plan next.

Store your login credentials in a trusted password manager. Your username and password are used to manage plans, review orders and retrieve the subscription. Forgetting them can interrupt later steps. If the page says the username is already taken, choose another recognizable name and submit again; there is no need to create multiple accounts.

Plans and payment

Choose a plan: Order by billing period and data allowance

After signing in, open the Plans section of the user panel. VPNHe offers monthly subscriptions and data packages that remain available until used up; they work differently. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Data packages never expire and are better for irregular usage or budgeting by actual consumption. Consider your main use case first rather than comparing only the one-time price.

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. For occasional research, text collaboration or light browsing, start with a lower allowance. If you often watch video, attend remote meetings or switch between several devices, choose a tier that better matches your usage. When upgrading mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days, so there is no need to overestimate on your first order.

Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire. After choosing a plan, review the plan name, data allowance and amount on the order confirmation page, then select an available payment method from Alipay, WeChat or USDT. After payment, return to the account overview and wait for the order status to update. Avoid creating duplicate orders while the status is still refreshing, as they may be difficult to distinguish later.

Once the plan is active, the overview page will show your current benefits. All plans support unlimited devices and include a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. If you are still unsure about the difference between a monthly subscription and a data package, read the full rules on the Plans page before returning to the panel to choose.

Get the subscription: Copy the URL from your account overview

After confirming that your plan is active, return to the account overview in the user panel. Find the subscription section, which usually includes options to copy the subscription, import it into a client or view its details. Choose Copy subscription URL. Do not copy the current page address from the browser; the panel URL is for account management, not subscription data that a client can read.

The subscription URL lets the client read your account’s route list and receive future updates. After copying, you may paste it temporarily into a local text editor to check that it is complete, but do not post it in public chats, forums or shared documents. The example https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN in this guide is for format demonstration only and cannot be used to connect; your real URL appears only in the signed-in user panel.

If clicking Copy produces no confirmation, use the panel’s display or manual-copy option, select the entire URL and copy it again. Make sure nothing is missing from the beginning or end, and do not include an extra line break. Next, open the client on your device and paste the URL into its import section. Once the client reads it successfully, it will generate a route list; future changes usually require only an update, not a new copy.

When the subscription content changes, use the client’s Update subscription function first. If the URL was exposed publicly or you suspect someone else obtained it, stop using the old URL and review the account options in the user panel. For further help, see Frequently asked questions for subscription reset and connection troubleshooting guidance.

Import by platform

Import the subscription: Choose a client for your device

The client receives the subscription, displays routes and establishes the connection. Installation entry points are provided in the signed-in user panel; this guide does not include static installer links. Open the client section in the panel, confirm your device’s operating system and obtain the appropriate client using the method provided there. After installation, return here and follow the steps for your platform.

Windows

In the user panel, choose the Windows client entry, download and install it, then open the program. On first launch, you will usually see an empty configuration page or a subscription management entry. Look for “Import subscription,” “Add from URL” or a similar menu. Paste the subscription URL copied from the account overview, give it a recognizable name and confirm the addition.

After importing, run an update so the client can retrieve the latest route list. Return to the main interface and confirm that selectable routes appear under the subscription name, then choose a destination region. If the system asks for network permission, verify that the newly installed client is open and follow the system prompt to allow the connection.

macOS

Open the macOS entry from the user panel and obtain the appropriate client as instructed there. After installing and launching it for the first time, macOS may ask you to approve network configuration access. Complete the system prompt, then open the client’s subscription or configuration manager, choose to add a configuration by link and paste the subscription URL copied from the VPNHe panel.

Save it and run a subscription update to confirm that the route list loads. Some macOS clients move the main window to the menu bar; if you cannot see the window after importing, reopen it from the menu bar icon. Choose a route and start the connection. A change in the system status indicates that the client is handling current network requests.

Android

Sign in to the user panel on your Android device, open the client section and choose the appropriate Android client. After installation, open the app and look for an add option in the configuration, subscription or profile page. Choose Import from link, paste the complete subscription URL, save it and tap Update to retrieve the currently available routes.

The first connection on Android displays a system-level network permission prompt. Confirm it, return to the client, choose a route and start the connection. If the app is stopped by the system after running in the background, check the device’s background activity policy. The only requirement here is that the client can keep running while in use; there is no need to change unrelated system settings.

iOS

Follow the instructions in the user panel to obtain the iOS client. Open the client section to see the appropriate App Store client type, then install it through the system store. This page does not provide external installation URLs, which may become invalid when platform versions or regional rules change.

Open the client and go to its subscription or configuration page. Choose Add from link, paste the subscription URL from the account overview and save it. When starting the connection for the first time, iOS will ask for permission to add a network configuration; confirm the system prompt. Return to the client, update the route list, choose a route and start the connection again. The status bar or client interface will show the current connection state.

Although Windows, macOS, Android and iOS use different interface labels, the core actions are the same: “copy subscription — import from link — update routes.” For details on how clients work, route types and deeper troubleshooting, continue with the Systematic Usage Manual. For a first setup, complete the main flow above before changing other settings.

Connection check

Connect and verify: Confirm that the route is active

After updating the subscription, choose a route whose exit region matches the destination service. For content available in a specific region, prefer a route in that region or a nearby one. For general browsing, start with a route that is geographically closer. Click Connect, wait for the client status to change to Connected, then continue with the next check.

A successful connection is not confirmed by button color alone. Open the website or app you actually need to use. Refresh any page that was already open and confirm that its content loads normally; if the browser retains the pre-connection state, close the tab and open it again. Verify video platforms, collaboration tools and AI services on their own pages, as each service may assess the exit region and session state differently.

If the client shows Connected but the destination page still does not work, disconnect the current route, switch to another route in the same region and reconnect. Reload the page after switching, and if necessary sign out of the destination service’s current session before signing in again. Do not run multiple clients that provide the same network connection function at once, or the system may not know which configuration to use.

If no route updates successfully, the issue usually occurred while retrieving the subscription or importing it into the client. Return to the earlier steps and check the plan status and subscription URL. If only one website is affected, see Connection and troubleshooting. To understand native IP addresses, regional detection and route selection, read The Complete Access Guide. This keeps first-time setup separate from deeper troubleshooting and avoids changing too many settings before the basic connection works.

Basic setup complete

Setup is complete when your account has an active plan, the client can update its routes and the destination service loads normally. When moving to another device, sign in to the user panel again, retrieve the subscription and follow the import steps for that platform.
